Pirate Craft – Easy TP Roll Craft For Kids

Pirate Craft

Ahoy!!

The Witches have been a little busy making a Boy Pirate Craft. This is a really easy craft for kids using a loo roll. We love loo roll crafts which you probably already know.  Our favourite all time loo roll craft has to be The Three Little Pigs, well thats my favourite. The Witches really enjoyed making the Bunny Craft using a mixture of paint!!  The Pirate Theme is ace, the Witches get dressed up as Pirates, they have created a pirate boat using shapes and they have made a treasure chest to keep treasure hidden from the pirates.

To make the boy pirate, can be crafted by children using recyclable materials in the home. I have used affiliate links in the post if you need help knowing where you can get them from. Why not sign up to our FREE CRAFTY NEWSLETTER and get FREE crafts sent to your email for crafts to do to keep kids busy!! We LOVE the PIRATE Theme!!

If you like the Pirate Ship in the back ground of the photos, I can tell you that it is playmobil!! My Witches have a ton of the stuff and we love using playmobil to show off our crafts. UK/US readers you can get one similar to ours for girls and boys. They will love this for the pirate craft!!

Boy Pirate Craft

This is a 2 part Pirate Craft – Boy & Girl Pirate!! This post will only be showing you how to make the Boy Pirate first.  If you want to keep updated on the crafts we do you can sign up here!!

Materials needed to make the Pirate:

You will also need a paint brush for this craft! UK/US

**This craft does not need a lot of materials. If you can’t get hold of the things on the list, you can use felt tips instead of paint and scraps of materials instead of plain paper**

Starting the Pirate!! Ahoy!!

Start off by marking a line for the bottom half. This part can be painted, we used black paint for this:

Draw a line for the shirt. Remember to leave enough at the top to draw on a face:

You can paint in this area. The Witches chose to do theirs in white:

It should look something similar to this:

Press together the top of the loo roll with a stapler:

Add a few details to the white part you painted. This is the t-shirt for the pirate:

At the bottom on the black, cut out a small triangle:

Add your wiggly eye, and draw on a patch:

Next get a piece of white paper, and fold it to make a strip:

Decorate the white strip with felt-tips:

Glue the top of the loo roll over the staples and add the strip, to form a bandana:

Give your Pirate a smile using the felt-tips:

Finished Boy Pirate Craft!!

I love the smile the Witches have drawn!! I hope this has inspired you to make this with your children too. This craft was created by the Witches Aged 2 and 4.
